Students will read some of the oldest documents known to Western Civilization delving into their historical and cultural significance. The writing addresses structure, drawing conclusions, and using support in an organized process. Students are introduced to elements of style and fiction as they are used in literature and focus on reading and writing fluency, rhetorical and analytical writing, creative writing, oral evaluation, and critical thinking.
